Snow, and MORE Snow!
I think it has been over a week. A whole week and then some. Every day it has snowed. We started with the snow "storm" that brought half a foot and then have just continued to add to the mass since. I'm watching it snow right now. At this point I am really hoping that it doesn't get up to, say, 36 degrees F and melt it all. I say 36 instead of 32 because it needs to be a few extra degrees above freezing to really take care of all of the melting during the day. I really, really hate that muddy slop from melted snow. Ick.
I am assured by my brother that the forecast does not include any temperature above 27 degrees for the next week. I didn't even ask about the snow forecast. Maybe we are going to have a spectacularly white xmas. That would be fine.
Speaking of snow and xmas, I really want cross country skis. I don't have any and I plan to spend the winter months in the great white north. Too bad I can't actually get them for christmas because I would have no way to fly them up with me. Boohiss on airline travel and the resulting limited baggage arrangement. Oh well. I guess I wil rent for occasional skiing in yet another season of snow.
