Things I Would Rather Be Doing:

I had a lazy day yesterday (watched a movie, went grocery shopping AND gabbed on the phone for HOURS) and it got me thinking about what I would rather be doing other than writing yet another chapter of my thesis. Here's a few of the things I came up with:

• riding my bike (prefer road but mountain would be cool too)
• finishing my crochet blanket
• swimming (or even better - playing polo)
• one of hundreds of cross stitch projects either started or waiting to be started
• putting together my photo albums
• getting a pedicure
• frankly, just about anything when you really get down to it.

A note about my new background - the shining suns seemed to be mocking me so I decided to decorate with something more indicative of my mood lately. Between the pressure of trying to finish the thesis, being in near financial ruin, jobless, and (it seems) regularly having spats with the bf, I have been in a foul mood. Here's a drink to hoping it gets better. Hmmm, drinking at 9:15 in the morning... problem? Oh wait, just diet coke (need the caffeine). Sigh.
